The short version
- Subscriptions are month-to-month (or annual) and you can cancel any time — no lock-in.
- Resources you buy are licensed for your own classroom use, not for reselling or sharing publicly.
- The tools support your professional judgment — they don't replace it.
- If something isn't right, email me. I'd rather fix it than hide behind fine print.
These terms cover your use of mrspcreations.ca, The Bloom Studio, and The Modern Teacher portal (together, "the site"). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. They're written to be readable — but they are the actual terms, so it's worth a look.
Accounts
- Accounts are for individual educators who are adults. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current so receipts and account emails reach you.
- One subscription is for one teacher. If you'd like access for a team, a grade, or a whole school, email me — that's a conversation I'm glad to have.
Subscriptions & billing
- Free trial — a Modern Teacher subscription can start with a free trial. No card is required to explore, and I'll be clear about when a trial ends before anything is charged.
- Billing — paid subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose, through Stripe. Annual plans include two months free versus paying monthly.
- Founding rate — if you join during the founding window, the founding price you started at holds through the 2026–2027 school year, on the terms shown on the pricing page. If prices rise for new sign-ups later, that doesn't change the rate you locked in.
- Taxes — applicable taxes (such as HST) are added where required, and shown before you pay.
Cancelling & refunds
- Cancel any time. You can cancel a subscription whenever you like from your account. Your access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be billed again after that.
- Subscriptions — I don't automatically refund partial months or unused time, but if you were charged by mistake or something genuinely went wrong, email me and I'll make it right.
- Bloom Studio resources — because these are digital files delivered instantly, individual purchases are generally non-refundable once downloaded. If a file is broken, wrong, or not as described, tell me and I'll fix it or refund it.
The short version: I'd rather you be happy than hold onto a few dollars. Reach out.
Bloom Studio purchases
Bloom Studio resources are sold individually — no subscription required. When you buy one, you get a licence to use it (see below), not ownership of the file itself. Subscribers may also unlock resources using monthly Seeds, as described on the pricing page.
How you can use the resources
Whether you buy a resource a la carte or access it through a subscription, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it in your own teaching. That means you can:
- Use it with your own students and classes.
- Print and copy it as needed for your own classroom.
- Adapt it for your own use.
Please don't:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute it — free or paid.
- Share your account or the files with other teachers so they can skip buying their own.
- Post the resources publicly or upload them to another site or platform.
These tools are made by one teacher. Respecting the licence is what keeps the work sustainable.
Acceptable use
Use the site for its intended purpose — planning, teaching, and running your own classroom. Don't try to break, copy, scrape, or resell the platform itself, and don't use it in a way that's unlawful or that interferes with other users.
Ownership
The site, the tools, the brand, and the resources are the intellectual property of Mrs. P Creations, protected by copyright. Buying a resource or holding a subscription gives you the licence to use it as described above — it doesn't transfer ownership. The work you create inside the tools (your plans, notes, and trackers) is yours.
Disclaimers
- The curriculum content and report card comments are built to follow the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success, and are kept as accurate as I can make them — but you're the professional in the room. Always apply your own judgment and check anything against current ministry documents before it counts.
- The tools support your work; they don't replace your expertise, your board's policies, or professional advice. Wellness and career features are for general support, not medical, legal, or employment advice.
- The site is provided "as is." I work hard to keep it running and accurate, but I can't guarantee it will always be error-free or available without interruption.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mrs. P Creations isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before it arose. Some protections can't be limited under Canadian consumer law, and nothing here takes those away.
Changes
The site is actively growing, so these terms and the features themselves may change over time. When the terms change in a way that matters, I'll update the date above and let account holders know where it's significant. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there.
