No. Absolutely no student data is ever sent to or processed by a third-party AI. The Comment Builder operates entirely from a curated database of 60,000+ comments written by hand by a veteran teacher — not generated algorithmically on the fly. This was engineered specifically to adhere to strict school board privacy guidelines.

Yes. An in-progress draft is saved with the student you selected in your signed-in account, so you can pause and return on another device. Its comment text is removed when you choose Clear comment or remove that student from your class list and the change finishes syncing. No student data is sent to an AI.

No. The class lists and student trackers are designed to use first names or initials only. That keeps identifying student information out of the system by default — which is exactly what a privacy-conscious board wants to see.

The platform is built specifically for Ontario first — all curriculum expectations and report card comments strictly align with the Ontario Ministry curriculum and Growing Success guidelines for Grades 1–8 across core subjects. That now includes Core French for Grades 4–8 and Religious Education for Grades 1–8, which unlocks automatically when you set your profile to a Catholic school. French Immersion isn't covered yet. Expansion to additional provinces is planned, as classroom management and workflow needs remain consistent across Canada.
